Dear Cardinal Sarah,

Please explain who these “western lobbies” are.

“At the last Synod, the church in Africa forcefully defended the dignity of the man and woman created by God. Her voice was ignored and scorned by those whose sole obsession is to please Western lobbies.”

Is it the ‘secularizing activists” which Archbishop Chaput mentioned, the same group that got prayer banned from public schools in America? Is it the Israel Lobby?

If you know, please tell us who they are. If you don’t know, don’t bother us with vague generalities.
