Trump and Biden decoupled in the RCP polling average shortly after October 7th.
It is widely believed that this is due to collapsing support for Biden among certain key demographics sympathetic to Palestine.
But if Trump is even more pro-Israel than Biden, then why has his support increased and Biden’s largely remained unchanged?
It would seem that the change in polling is caused by effects downstream from Israeli dissatisfaction with Biden’s handling of the crisis.
