James Reynolds and National Party members canvassed and distributed leaflets for James Reynolds’s election campaign in Athenry Mart and the surrounding town in Co Galway recently.
is standing for the National Party in the Midlands-Northwest constituency in the European elections this June.
The farmers present at the mart were very receptive to the National Party message, as were the townsfolk who were canvassed.
The two major parties of Government that have been enabled by the Green Party to inflict a destructive policy on rural Ireland and the family farm cannot be allowed to continue.
A new policy direction must emerge which does not treat farmers and rural communities with contempt.
