UNIVERSITY PROTESTS: CRITICAL OPPORTUNITY
The Message: These pro-Palestinian protests are calling for their universities to divest from Israel-related investments and sever partnerships–IOW, to support the BDS movement.
The Problem: 38 US states have anti-BDS laws. If these Universities give in to the protests and divest of their Israel-related investments & relationships–they’ll literally run afoul of their own state laws. States would be forbidden by their own laws to grant funding to their own state-run universities. This will create crises and paradoxes.
The Opportunity: By forcing these state-level legal & funding crises and paradoxes, we’ll break these unconstitutional anti-BDS laws. This will create momentum that we can use like a domino-chain to break the overall stranglehold …
